Tiger - Dachshund mix - 3 years
This is the face of happy! Boasting a beautiful brindle coat and a smile certain to melt hearts, Tiger is 27 pounds of sweetness and sociability. In fact, he puts the "c" into cuddling, considering it one of his preferred pastimes. He enjoys the company of adults and children, rides well in the car, and, because of his size, prefers smaller dogs to larger ones. And speaking of size … his legs may be short, but he runs like the wind, and promises to run all the way to his loving fur-ever home
Ginger - Pit Bull mix - 3 years
If gentleness had a face, it would be Ginger’s. By chance or by choice, she recently wandered into a mining camp in the northern mountains of Mexico. Clearly a mom at one time and limping from an injury consistent with having been hit by a car, her sweet and loving personality won the hearts of the workers there, prompting one to reach out to us. Since the mountains are notorious for being used by Mexico’s drug cartels, the mining company provides its workers with private transportation to and from the camp and has agreed to see Ginger safely to Mexico City. There, she will be vaccinated, spayed and her leg operated on in an effort to correct her injury. Scheduled to arrive in Vancouver mid-November, this tender hearted and mild-mannered miss hopes to find either a foster or adopter waiting for her. If love had a face, it would be Ginger’s.
Rosa - Italian Greyhound - 2 years
With a tail that wags non-stop, 10-pound caramel cutie, Rosa, resembles a fawn, delicate and dainty, feminine and friendly. Sweeter than sweet, she LOVES getting attention and LOVES snuggling with her people, and after the proper introductions, does well with cats and other dogs. What she doesn’t love, though, is our winter weather, but she models her wardrobe of sweaters with elegance and ease, and is eager to model them fur-ever in a warm, loving home.
